📋 Description
• Responsible for management through conclusion, including trial, of litigated claims • Provides input and direction to defense counsel • Completes analysis of claims • Creates discovery plan, including depositions and retention of experts • Authorizes, approves and monitors budget for outside counsel • Prepares and presents recommendations for litigated cases
🎯 Requirements
• A total of 6-7 years of claims experience • Minimum of 2-4 years Senior Casualty role experience or equivalent complex casualty/litigation experience • 1 year of Litigation experience • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills • HS/GED or a minimum of 3 years of experience in casualty claims role within P&C insurance industry
