β’ Serve as the statistical subject matter expert for AACR Project GENIE β’ Advise investigators, collaborators, and project leadership on study design and analytical strategy β’ Collaborate with investigators, pharmaceutical clients, and academic institutions to design observational studies using real-world clinico-genomic data β’ Develop statistical analysis plans, define study populations, cohorts, endpoints, and analytical methods β’ Contribute statistical expertise to research protocols, study design, and publication planning β’ Perform statistical programming and analyses using R β’ Interpret results and contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and consortium reports β’ Experiment with new analytic methods as needed β’ Advise project leadership on statistical methodologies and study design β’ Ensure analyses are reproducible, well documented, and adhere to best practices β’ Collaborate with data managers, investigators, and pharmaceutical clients to assess data quality, completeness, and fitness for analysis β’ Independently lead the statistical aspects of multiple concurrent observational research studies from conception through analysis and publication β’ Perform other duties as assigned
β’ M.S. or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative discipline β’ 5+ years of post-graduate experience providing end-to-end statistical support for observational research studies using real-world data β’ Experience with electronic health records, cancer registries, genomic data, claims data, or other longitudinal clinical data sources β’ Experience designing statistical analysis plans and contributing statistical sections to research protocols β’ Experience defining study cohorts, endpoints, and analytical methodologies for observational clinical research β’ Prior peer-reviewed publications as a statistical collaborator β’ Strong proficiency in R, including statistical programming, data manipulation, reproducible workflows, and production-quality analytical code β’ Experience with survival analysis, Kaplan-Meier estimation, competing risks, longitudinal analyses, regression modeling, propensity score methods, missing data approaches, and sensitivity analyses β’ Experience collaborating with clinicians, scientific investigators, and data management teams β’ Strong relationship-building, communication, public speaking, and presentation abilities β’ Experience interpreting and communicating statistical findings to technical and non-technical audiences β’ Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and experience solving complex and dynamic situations β’ Entrepreneurial, visionary approach and ability to conceive, execute, and communicate innovative solutions β’ Self-starter who takes initiative and balances big-picture strategy with execution against goals β’ Preferred: Python proficiency β’ Preferred: Experience working with clinico-genomic oncology datasets β’ Preferred: Familiarity with REDCap or other EDC platforms β’ Git/GitHub experience strongly preferred
