• Own planning and execution for a classified Spacetime engineering program through each phase of the mission • Resolve cross-system dependencies and technical tradeoffs directly • Serve as the primary programmatic interface with a cleared government customer • Communicate with technical staff and senior government stakeholders across classified and unclassified channels • Run kickoffs, technical reviews, and executive readouts • Align Engineering, Product, and Solutions Engineering across compartmented and uncompartmented workstreams • Translate customer and mission requirements into actionable engineering plans • Evaluate latency, throughput, scaling, and failure-mode tradeoffs • Handle classified information and CUI correctly • Maintain personal security posture and follow program security and ITAR/EAR requirements • Partner with the FSO and IT/Cybersecurity stakeholders • Own T&M or cost-type contract reporting, including monthly labor, subcontract, hardware, and materials tracking at the MEL level to support invoicing • Identify schedule, scope, and dependency risks early and escalate with context • Coordinate mitigations with engineering leads across development, staging, and dedicated government cloud production environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance in good standing • TS/SCI with polygraph strongly preferred • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or closely related work delivering complex technical platforms • Experience ideally supporting U.S. Government or defense/space customers • Ability to read and critique design documents unaided • Ability to engage engineering teams on architecture, scaling, and failure-mode tradeoffs as a peer • Experience with genuinely technical programs, infrastructure migrations, API/interface contracts, cross-system dependency resolution, or multi-team technical rollouts • Ability to influence without authority and interface confidently with senior government and customer stakeholders • Experience managing complex project financials, resource tracking, or strict contractual reporting requirements, including T&M, FFP, or cost-type contracts • U.S. citizenship required to hold and maintain the clearance • Background in engineering, hardware/software systems, solutions architecture, or a related field with hands-on experience running technical programs alongside engineering teams • Willingness to travel occasionally • Must satisfy applicable U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field preferred, not mandatory • Equivalent hands-on technical experience evaluated on equal footing • Familiarity with networking, telecom, or SDN/traffic engineering concepts preferred • Strong satellite and mission operations background preferred • Experience transitioning programs from prototype to production volumes and improving TRL/MRL preferred • Knowledge of USG acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and contract vehicles preferred
