📋 Description

• Work with a broad number of clients and platforms • Triage alert escalations and handle incidents when necessary • Interact with Security, Engineering, and Service teams • Respond to escalated issues from tier 1 analysts in a timely fashion • Respond to and action escalations from the MDR provider • Work with the engineering team and clients to improve detection and response capabilities • Maintain the health and security of the platform • Communicate effectively with management, peers, and clients • Maintain awareness of security and control issues in emerging technologies • Scope, implement, and support new security projects and initiatives • Own and follow up on pending issues through resolution

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a security operations team, system engineering or technical security role • A Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or similar focus • Microsoft Certified (MCSE) or equivalent certification a plus • Security Certificate (current or within 6 months of hire) such as; CompTIA CySA, Security+ and Ne... • Familiarity with industry standard tools and applications such as Rapid7, Palo Alto, SentinelOne, and KnowBe4 • Familiarity with SIEM, Anti-Virus, Email/Spam Filtering, and Asset Monitoring tools • Working knowledge of SIEM query languages, Palo Alto Panorama, SentinelOne, Nagios, Mimecast, or Proofpoint • Ability to navigate and utilize a ticketing system such as ServiceNow • Experience with change management and security remediation processes • Experience with security documentation, technical and policy writing • Ability to deliver technical/security information or concepts in a user-friendly format • Takes ownership and excels in both independent and team project work • Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines • Must have availability to occasionally work nights and weekends
