📋 Description

• Provide guidance and assistance to the work group to meet assigned objectives. • Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on electrical distribution equipment. • Execute projects involving startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery equipment. • Work with transformers, switchgear, OCBs, circuit breakers, busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, relays, power management control systems, and related power equipment and controls. • Lead outages with field engineers, technicians, contractors, project managers, lead site engineers, or site project managers. • Write technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, prepare job status and customer reports, and complete timesheets and expense sheets. • Plan, prepare, and/or instruct internal and external training programs. • Perform timely administrative functions associated with assigned work.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma and 8 years of related engineering / field experience. • Additional formal education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis. • Ability and willingness to travel up to an estimated 75% of the time. • Experience in the repair and refurbishment of LV and MV circuit breakers is preferred. • Technical skills in testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of medium voltage synchronous machines are preferred. • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
