📋 Description

• Promote, manage, and grow Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings • Develop and support territory sales goals for Similac and PediaSure • Conduct hospital negotiations and contracting • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines • Deliver product and clinical information in a selling environment • Support new product launches • Navigate hospital departments including NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units • Work with dietitians, physicians, and nurses • Manage administrative responsibilities and budgets • Pursue short- and long-term territory goals independently • Cover a territory including DC, Arlington, and Montgomery County • Travel approximately 5% of the time with no overnight territory coverage

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience is ideal • Stability and proven success in sales • Subject matter expertise and high business acumen • Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically pediatrics, is a plus • Verification of vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination • Local candidates only; no relocation offered • Ability to work in hospital and office settings • Ability to work effectively with dietitians, physicians, and nurses • Effective administrative skills • Budget management • Ability to function independently with initiative, independence, and autonomy
