• Serve as a process Subject Matter Expert for internal department team members on internal processes and source documents • Perform Revenue Cycle processes, handle queues in the Electronic Medical Records system, and troubleshoot patient claims, charges, and appeals • Support management of workflows and team resource allocation with leadership • Attend and co-facilitate meetings with internal departments • Use Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and leadership requests • Participate in cross-department project initiatives • Perform duties and document information according to Standard Operating Procedures and workflows • Support work queue turnaround time requirements and contribute to process improvement • Uphold company mission and values and comply with Quality Management System policies and procedures • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, work the designated schedule and overtime as needed • Work on mobile devices, tablets, or computers and perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day • Collaborate cross-functionally to support Revenue Cycle and Order to Cash functions
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) • 2+ years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service environment • 2+ years of experience in multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and OnBase • 1+ years of experience working in a medical data entry environment utilizing EMR systems • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to overall workflow processes • Working knowledge of HIPAA Laws • Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms • Working knowledge of laboratory terminology • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat; demonstrated ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflow and manipulate files into PDF • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • Successfully complete all Epic trainings for TOQ and PFS work queues • Preferred: experience with project-based work, peer mentorship, multiple concurrent work streams, and process documentation with Microsoft Visio or similar programs
