📋 Description

• Work on business systems design and configuration, upgrades, and improvements for assigned technology platforms • Serve as a primary support contact for application end-users • Identify and resolve application issues, including issues affecting other application teams • Perform impact analysis of desired changes • Build and test system changes • Identify platform performance improvements and opportunities to enable business processes and requirements • Mentor junior analysts and support or delegate activities to other analysts • Lead estimation of enhancement or support requests • Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues • Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor implementation staff • Develop understanding of operational needs and improve business workflows through technology • Participate in training and work with end users • Troubleshoot problems and questions • Provide end-user support for tracked issues • Review project and issue status with project leadership • Act as delegate for the Applications Manager in incident or problem resolution • Lead internal process design and documentation for continuous IT improvement • Work within cross-functional teams and communicate with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders • Uphold company mission, values, and Quality Management System policies and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field; or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree • 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions in an application analyst or project delivery role • Subject Matter Expert in one or more of: patient identification workflows in healthcare, revenue cycle, CRM & MyChart, Patient Registration, or lab order entry • Possession of or ability to obtain relevant Epic software application(s) certification within 8 weeks of hire • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • Current certification in Epic Beaker CP or EpicCare Link preferred • Additional relevant Epic certifications preferred, such as Epic Genomics, Epic Aura, Epic Beaker AP, Epic Ambulatory, or Epic Orders • Experience supporting or configuring Epic Aura workflows, especially from the perspective of a reference lab preferred • Experience in a health system, reference laboratory, biotechnology, or life sciences environment preferred • Experience supporting multiple Epic applications and cross-functional Epic workflows preferred • Experience supporting clinical laboratory operations, pathology, genetics, or oncology workflows preferred • Experience leading medium-to-large Epic projects, upgrades, workflow optimizations, or major application enhancements preferred • Ability to work normal business hours and on-call, with potential for nights and weekends • Ability to travel approximately 5% of working time • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day • Ability to comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements
