• Support the Cardiac Rhythm Management and Electrophysiology divisions • Establish and develop early customer relationships with Fellowship Directors to build Abbott brand identification and product adoption in the United States • Develop and maintain a database tracking institutional programs, fellows, and directors • Contribute to the development and maintenance of relevant speakers • Contribute to fellowship curricula and external curricula with quality cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, and electrophysiology education resources • Work with Product Marketing and Sales management to provide continuing education for physicians, fellows, and other clinical and economic customers • Counsel customers on Abbott products across multiple business segments • Identify sales-organization program champions and liaise with program directors and fellows • Mentor and train team members in curriculum design, development, and VR simulation • Establish and manage vendor relationships • Maintain communication methods for exchanging strategic opportunity and program information • Incorporate fellows’ occupational and career development priorities into Abbott initiatives • Maintain knowledge of company products, therapies, educational markets, and business objectives to develop continuing education programs • Monitor competitive fellows program activities • Comply with FDA and other regulatory requirements, company policies, procedures, and assignments • Collaborate with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent • 8+ years training experience in the design/manufacture/sales/training of medical devices • Related product training/teaching experience • Ability to apply fundamental concepts and practices to conduct needs assessment and design fellow training programs • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Strong organizational and follow-up skills and attention to detail • Ability to travel approximately 40%, including internationally and some weekends • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance • Professional training/education certification or designation preferred • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred
