• Advance AbbVie’s clinical research pipeline by supporting excellence in clinical research • Partner with investigators and site staff to support effective clinical-trial engagements • Serve as the primary point of contact for investigative sites • Provide information on clinical trials and connect stakeholders with investigative sites • Align, train, and motivate site staff and principal investigators under supervision • Conduct site evaluation, training, routine monitoring, and site-closure activities under supervision • Ensure compliance with protocols, monitoring plans, regulations, GCPs, ICH Guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards • Customize site-engagement strategies for assigned studies under supervision • Gather local and site insights and use CRM tools to track progress and measure impact • Connect study protocols, scientific principles, and clinical-trial requirements to day-to-day execution • Evaluate and support patient recruitment and retention plans • Develop therapeutic-area, asset, clinical-landscape, and patient-journey knowledge • Conduct continuous risk assessment with the Central Monitoring team • Resolve site risk signals and address clinical-site issues • Implement preventative and corrective action plans to mitigate risk and promote compliance • Identify, evaluate, and recommend investigators and sites under supervision • Ensure quality and timely submission of site data and safety-event reporting • Maintain audit and regulatory-inspection readiness • Manage investigator payments according to executed contract obligations
• Appropriate tertiary qualification in health-related disciplines (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) preferred, or equivalent work experience • Clinically related experience, preferably in clinical research coordinating or data management • Knowledge of therapeutic area indications preferred • Knowledge of local regulatory and legal requirements, ICH/GCP Guidelines, and applicable policies • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally • Planning and organizational skills • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with competing projects and deadlines • Ability to leverage technology, tools, and resources • Critical-thinking and good-judgment skills • Strong written, verbal, active listening, and presentation skills • Ability to establish and leverage site relationships and trusted partnerships • Ability to act with integrity in accordance with AbbVie’s code of business conduct and leadership values • Self-motivated and focused on delivering timely, quality outcomes • Work authorization in the United States is implied by the US-based role and applicant provisions
