📋 Description

• This role is field-based and will require travel throughout the Atlantic Coast District Territory. • Candidates should reside within a reasonable distance from Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA, Washington DC, or Baltimore, MD. • The District Manager, Eye Care Surgical (Xen) responsible for leading a team to promote AbbVie’s Xen Gel stent within the refractory glaucoma market. • Oversees all aspects of managing the district’s sales results while interviewing, selecting, and developing Account Consultants. • Managing the district’s customer-facing activities and adhering to compliance principles to ensure overall success of US Interventional Glaucoma franchise. • Accomplishing objectives of the district and providing support to franchise short- and long-term strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred • MBA Preferred • Minimum 5-7 years of Healthcare, buy and bill, or device experience is required • Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills • Collaborates and can influence without authority across organizations • Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas • Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance • Ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities • Valid driver’s license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to travel a minimum of 75% adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
