📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections and gain calls to action to close sales calls • Serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements • Develop and execute call plans that optimize customer coverage and frequency • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales • Share market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience • Relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree: at least five years of experience, with three or more years preferred within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry • High school diploma/GED required when using industry experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree • Proven track record of success in selling • Solid presentation skills • Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing • English language proficiency verbally and in writing • Satisfy applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain them • Demonstrated in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge • Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • Ability to drive a personal auto or company car/truck or powered material-handling equipment • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Meet safe driving requirements • Travel approximately 50% of the time
