📋 Description

• Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field • Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives • Manage the assigned territory and targeted accounts • Build strong customer relationships and solve customer needs • Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations • Handle objections, concerns, and misunderstandings and gain calls to action • Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency with key customers • Build knowledge of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease, products, clinical information, and sales • Share market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with healthcare providers • Identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates • Operate within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required • At least five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, including three or more years within the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry preferred • High school diploma/GED required when using the experience alternative • Proven track record of leadership success • Solid presentation skills • Strong business acumen • Proficient use of business tools • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities • Ability to identify customer style/behavior and adapt selling approach • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment • English language proficiency preferred for non-English-speaking countries • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain them • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test • Must meet safe driving requirements
