📋 Description

• Contribute to and support HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process, and utility engineering efforts • Execute engineering and design duties to ensure quality products • Contribute to team growth by leading and mentoring staff • Apply design criteria using project information, codes, standards, and professional judgment • Interpret scopes of work, bases of design, field surveys, and code research • Serve as engineer of record from concept phase through construction documents and construction administration • Direct and mentor subordinate staff daily • Design distribution system layouts and equipment locations with discipline and project team members • Perform system calculations and size and select system components • Review shop drawing submittals • Travel to job sites for field verification • Author BOD narratives, design criteria documents, engineering reports, and other technical documents • Edit design specifications and respond to RFIs using project documents, specifications, shop drawings, and design criteria • Prepare meeting notes, read project correspondence, and maintain project design files

🎯 Requirements

• Graduated engineer from an ABET accredited institution • Minimum of 2 years’ experience (post degree) working for an MEP Engineering Firm or an AE Firm • Professional Engineering (PE) License (EIT will be taken into consideration) • Current/Active NCEES registration in good standing • Proficient in REVIT • Experience with Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, or eQuest • Expertise in fire protection, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and utility systems • Ability to combine personal judgment with project information and knowledge of codes and standards • Knowledge and experience with hydronic systems a plus • Experience with healthcare facilities and central plant infrastructure preferred • Experience with Psychrometric Chart, Ductulator, and Pipe Flow • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD; proficiency in Creo Parametric is a plus • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Desire and ability to work remote • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.
