📋 Description

• Service inbound corporate and government travel requests • Deliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOUR clients • Greet all clients with enthusiasm • Provide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process • Quote and book accurate domestic and international air, car, and hotel reservations • Complete reservations accurately and promptly while following corporate travel policies • Follow Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act • Secure the lowest available air, car, and hotel rates at booking • Utilize client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable • Use GDS low-fare search capabilities • Maintain productivity, quality, and customer-experience goals • Work Monday through Friday on shifts between 8–5, 9–6, 10–7, 11–8, or 12–9 Eastern Time

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ travel selling experience • 5+ years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry • Expert in international travel bookings and process • Typing speed of at least 50 WPM • Exceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach • Excellent travel industry knowledge • Mastery in Sabre GDS, formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing, Smartpoint • Corporate travel experience required • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to service multiple accounts at a high level of customer service • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English • Ability to embrace change and adapt to new technologies and processes • Strong understanding of own skill set and development opportunities • Ability to take direction, offer suggestions, and ask for appropriate guidance • Exceptional teamwork and proactive peer support • Ability to act as a leader among peers • Ability to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders • Ability to handle difficult situations with minimal guidance • Ability to support peers in decision making • Knows when to escalate to a leader • Strong understanding of key Altour initiatives and consistent change management skills
