📋 Description

• Assist underwriters with new business and renewal submissions • Review submissions for completeness and request outstanding information as needed • Prepare and organize underwriting files and supporting documentation • Enter and maintain accurate data within underwriting and policy administration systems • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner • Coordinate the collection of applications, claims experience, plan documents, and other required underwriting information • Build and maintain positive relationships with brokers and business partners • Track submissions, renewals, and outstanding requirements to ensure timely processing • Support audits, carrier reporting, and compliance requirements • Monitor underwriting inboxes and assist with workflow management • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of health insurance experience • Strong knowledge of self-funded health plan structures is a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
