📋 Description

• Provide senior-level technical operational support, administration, and maintenance for production applications, middleware platforms, and infrastructure • Administer DB2, including data ingestion, connectivity, access provisioning, and troubleshooting • Monitor LDAP health and disaster-recovery replication, including replication status, database growth, disk utilization, and service issues • Design and build LDAP disaster-recovery replication pipelines and resolve replication failures and ISVD/DB2 defects • Administer RHEL 8, JBoss, WebSphere, Nginx, NFS, and related middleware • Renew SSL/TLS certificates and perform configuration hardening • Review and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure and application platforms • Lead security compliance activities, including ATO evidence gathering, network-flow diagrams, and CJIS/NCIC-related log handling • Establish secure configuration baselines using CIS Benchmarks and DISA STIGs, with periodic compliance assessments and documented deviations • Monitor applications, infrastructure, and service alerts • Maintain Ansible automation for service start, stop, validation, and health checks • Improve monitoring, reliability, and operational processes • Participate in troubleshooting and outage sessions • Perform software deployments, upgrades, patch management, and system changes • Document problems, resolutions, procedures, and technical processes • Develop automation to reduce redundancy and user error • Collaborate with cross-functional, infrastructure, platform, development, testing, and client teams • Review system and application logs; back up, verify, and restore system and application data • Deploy and maintain infrastructure resources supporting client products and services at scale • Install RHEL Linux operating systems and configure Apache, Tomcat, and Informix server components • Build and maintain secure operating-system images • Support portal end-users with account configuration and related capabilities • Provide technical support for external client administrators managing client-hosted infrastructure • Monitor compliance and regulatory controls and remediate security and network-scanning findings • Assist with SSL certificate installation and troubleshooting • Provide on-call and after-hours support for incidents and system changes

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing systems and applications running on Linux operating systems, and Unix server setup, deployment, and maintenance • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, or relevant computer-based major; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree • Proficiency with deployment and maintenance of Red Hat Linux, OS, Apache, Tomcat, and Informix components • Proficiency with Bash or Python scripting/coding • Strong knowledge of HTTP, SMTP, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing concepts • Working experience with Trend Micro Deep Security, Sumo Logic, Burp Suite Scanner, and HP Fortify is an asset • Working knowledge of the software build process and a strong security-first mindset • Preferred: Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator • Preferred: working experience with DB2 and AWS Cloud • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills • Experience communicating and collaborating with developers, testers, systems engineers, and DBAs • Ability to work independently and across multiple teams • Familiarity with Agile principles, SAFe Framework, JIRA, and Confluence • Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously • Ability to plan, facilitate, and participate in systems and platform upgrades, service, and preventative maintenance activities • Excellent written and soft skills • Demonstrated customer service focus, work ethic, and attention to detail • Candidates must be located within the continental United States
