📋 Description

• Uphold, safeguard, and promote Acuren’s values and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity, safety, quality, and corporate responsibility • Communicate with all workforce levels to develop a safety culture, recognize hazards, and minimize risk • Ensure hazard assessments are conducted on every job and unsafe work is refused • Provide resources for appropriate safety equipment, safety training, and regular safety audits • Manage and lead investigations of safety incidents • Ensure clients receive quality services in a timely manner • Manage worker training, procedure use, project supervision, and peer review • Conduct ongoing workforce safety assessments and oversee facility, operations, equipment, and process audits and inspections • Lead incident investigations, participate in management review calls, write Incident Report Summaries, communicate incidents and lessons learned, and perform root-cause analysis • Liaise with client safety personnel, participate in pre-job meetings and post-job reviews, and obtain safety performance feedback • Provide safety training for employees and management throughout the assigned area • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local government laws • Establish annual plans and objectives with the Corporate Safety Leader • Maintain required safety training, DOT, and related files and records • Perform other duties as directed by the Site Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in field service employment specific to regional client industries, such as petrochemical and mining • Previous experience as an occupational safety leader or field safety experience • Thorough knowledge and understanding of OSHA as it relates to an NDT environment • Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures • Excellent technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills • Self-starter, enthusiastic, energized team player • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Must ensure compliance with Federal, State and local government laws, including OSHA, EPA, USDOT, NIOSH, Traffic Safety, and Workers' Compensation requirements
