📋 Description

• Oversee revenue cycle management domestic and offshore staff and ensure RCM functions are completed within established timeframes • Manage day-to-day RCM team operations and processes across locations • Create and track daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators for offshore RCM staff • Track, trend, and publish metrics for completed RCM work • Ensure compliance with third-party, private insurance, and government reimbursement billing procedures • Validate and improve the accuracy and completeness of patient insurance information • Maintain knowledge of upstream and downstream processes • Recommend and implement system and process improvements focused on quality and efficiency • Identify and remove departmental bottlenecks and resolve problems • Report employee audit metrics for accuracy and productivity • Train and develop team members on AdaptHealth policies and protocols • Handle escalated phone calls, insurance payer disputes, billing inquiries, and account inaccuracies • Communicate with other departments and leadership to resolve billing issues and reduce insurance denials • Identify root causes of inaccurate insurance billing and report trends to management • Conduct team meetings on insurance guidelines, claim denials, and retraining • Coordinate with leaders and contract price table management to maintain accurate billing and payer information • Ensure RCM staff complete month-end processes before close • Maintain knowledge of company products and services • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and compliance • Select and hire qualified staff, onboard and train employees, and provide feedback • Plan, monitor, appraise, coach, counsel, and discipline employees • Establish annual departmental goals aligned with organizational strategy • Achieve performance, retention, and timely performance-evaluation goals • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associated degree from an accredited college is required; advanced degree preferred • Three (3) years’ work related in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry required • Two (2) HME claims experience is preferred • Strong leadership skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication • Excellent customer service skills • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Solid ability to learn new technologies and technical aptitude to understand flow of data through systems and system interaction • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods of time • Must be able to lift 30 pounds as needed • Ability to travel as needed • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers while demonstrating empathy, compassion, courtesy, and respect for privacy • Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within HIPAA guidelines • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements • Must complete assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required
