📋 Description

• Design, build, and optimize the next-generation Research Platform • Work across the stack with Python, Databricks, Java, and web technologies • Take projects through the full software lifecycle, including design, architecture, prototyping, development, release, iteration, and monitoring • Build new systems and improve existing systems, from small fixes to large projects • Work on enterprise risk calculation engines and private fund analytics and benchmarking tools • Partner with researchers and product managers to shape the platform’s direction • Lead key architectural work • Mentor teammates • Share knowledge through design reviews and code reviews • Build resilient, high-throughput systems supporting institutional investors managing risk across global portfolios

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong experience with Python or Java • Experience designing and operating production systems • Clear communication with technical and non-technical collaborators • Applicants in the United States must be legally authorized to work for any employer without current or future visa sponsorship and authorized to begin work in the U.S. on the first day • Applicants globally must have legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based on the first day; visa sponsorship is unavailable • Helpful but not required: experience with Databricks, Spark, or other large-scale data processing • Helpful but not required: experience with web application development • Helpful but not required: familiarity with financial data, risk analytics, or investment concepts
