📋 Description

• Provide clinical oversight and collaboration for Advanced Practice Providers • Supervise and/or collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants according to state law • Execute and maintain required supervisory or collaborative practice agreements • Conduct and document chart reviews at state- and company-required frequency and volume • Provide consultation, case escalation support, and clinical guidance via video, phone, or secure messaging • Guide evidence-based treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, binge eating disorder, and related disorders • Support medication management, including education on usage, side effects, and interactions • Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities • Report quality-of-care issues through established mechanisms • Provide feedback, mentorship, and ongoing clinical education to supervised APPs • Attend relevant meetings and educational training sessions • Monitor telemedicine regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Maintain current mental healthcare knowledge • Comply with internal privacy policies and procedures • Complete additional company-requested tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be licensed to practice in Mississippi and have a valid DEA license; applicants without these will not be considered • Specialized expertise in comprehensive treatment and management of ADHD, anxiety, depression, binge eating disorder, and related conditions in adult and pediatric populations • Minimum 2 years in mental healthcare or 5 years in a primary care setting • Prior experience supervising or collaborating with NPs and/or PAs • In-depth knowledge of DSM-5, GAD-7, PHQ-9, and other diagnostic tools • Thorough understanding of state-specific APP supervision/collaboration requirements and telemedicine laws • Knowledge of controlled substance prescribing requirements and best practices • Proficiency with technology and electronic health record systems • Exceptional communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills • High flexibility and adaptability • Passion for accessible mental health care • Previous telehealth experience highly preferred • Graduation from a US medical school or foreign medical school with ECFMG certification • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO) required • Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry • Board certification • Current, unrestricted state license • DEA license(s) and state controlled substance license(s), as applicable • Must meet state eligibility requirements to serve as a supervising/collaborating physician • Sterile work environment free from external noise • Reliable internet connection • Desktop computer, laptop, and/or tablet • Legally authorized to work in the United States • No visa sponsorship available
