• Executing advanced IT de-installations and installations of IT racks, components, and cabling. • Participating in complex IT cabling installation tasks. • Troubleshooting and resolving complex cabling and connectivity issues independently. • Adhering to all safety protocols and site-specific procedures. • Communicating effectively with the project lead and team members regarding progress, challenges, and requirements.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of telecommunications/electronics vocational training or professional certification from an ABET accredited technical school or equivalent military school. • Certification: BICSI installer level 1 (INST1) certification or higher. • 3+ years’ experience in two or more of the following specialties: automation hardware, operating systems, automation security systems, server virtualization, videoconferencing, fiber optic cabling, audio / visual systems, network and systems management and control, media access / digital interfaces, software applications, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), system and/or network protocols. • Previous experience in DoD IT projects. • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
