⢠Perform fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator ⢠Support project staff with a variety of tasks ⢠Gather and maintain specified records of scientific data ⢠Assist with environmental sampling, operations and maintenance, and inspections at client sites ⢠Assist with calculations ⢠Set up and operate equipment ⢠Inspect equipment and installations for compliance with specifications ⢠Maintain proper project documentation ⢠Collect and enter data ⢠Apply technical principles and theories under supervision ⢠Participate in archaeological field projects primarily in Ohio and Illinois
⢠High School graduate ⢠2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork ⢠Valid US Driver's License ⢠Pre-employment driving record verification ⢠US Citizenship required ⢠Flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions ⢠Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field preferred ⢠3+ years of experience with archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring preferred ⢠Completion of an archaeological field school highly desired ⢠Experience with geospatial technology, including GPS and GIS preferred ⢠Computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred
