📋 Description

• Conduct archaeological fieldwork under the guidance of a field supervisor • Identify and document cultural resources • Follow Health and Safety protocols and AECOM procedures • Assist the field supervisor with technical aspects of fieldwork • Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision • Perform fieldwork primarily in Oregon and Washington, with opportunities for additional projects • Work on an as-needed, on-call basis with workdays and times determined by project needs

🎯 Requirements

• High School graduate + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in archaeological fieldwork • Valid US Driver's License • Pre-employment driving record verification • US Citizenship • Flexibility to travel overnight for field work sessions • Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field (preferred) • 3+ years of experience with archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring (preferred) • Completion of an archaeological field school (highly desired) • Experience with GPS and GIS (preferred) • Computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (preferred)
