📋 Description

• Join AECOM's Transportation Department and contribute to a wide range of transportation projects • Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop engineering solutions from initial concepts through detailed design and construction • Design and analyze stormwater management systems for site development projects • Size and design stormwater detention and retention basins • Prepare drainage calculations and reports • Review municipal, county, and state stormwater ordinances • Coordinate with site civil designers to incorporate drainage requirements into overall site layouts • Perform specific and limited portions of broader assignments under moderate supervision • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures • Complete detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests • Propose approaches to solve new problems and identify discrepancies in results • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers • Create models and plan sheets with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Design roadways or general site development • Develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates • Develop technical specifications for contractors

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience • EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date • United States Citizenship is required • Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review as a condition of employment • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Experience designing roadways or general site development • Experience developing quantity take offs and cost estimates • Experience developing technical specifications for contractors • Ability to work within agreed budget and schedule with moderate supervision
