• Coordinate activities between Civil Infrastructure Engineering, design, and construction management teams to ensure alignment across construction packages • Manage and track reviews of RFIs, NCRs, QMDPs, Bridge Quality Assessment Reports, and Design Variance Requests • Serve as the primary point of contact at construction offices • Lead submittal review meetings • Maintain organized project documentation and archive records within a systematic document control process • Review engineering submittals, comments, and responses across Engineering, Final Design, Construction, and Project Development teams • Participate in engineering meetings representing the Engineering team • Provide project status updates and track activities for weekly and monthly reporting • Maintain tracker logs • Develop and maintain a systematic document control system • Coordinate technical submittals and reviews among Engineering, Construction Services, and PCM Engineering staff • Facilitate communication between Engineering and PCM engineering staff • Communicate Engineering processes and policies • Participate in over-the-shoulder, draft DVR, and issue resolution meetings • Assist with bulletins, memoranda, policies, and procedures • Represent the Engineering team in support of functional branches
• BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Strong project and/or construction management background • Experience in the construction and engineering industry • Preference for Design Build, Rail, Transit, and Civil Engineering experience • At least 5+ years of civil experience preferred • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Degree in construction management, engineering, or closely related experience preferred • Knowledge of Design Build transportation projects, particularly structures • Ability to understand structural and/or civil engineering design and construction • Understanding of construction-related contracts • Understanding of the design-build environment • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to work remotely and provide information via telephone, email, and virtual tools • Strong communication skills • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
