📋 Description

• Design and implement electrical systems for hyperscale data centers • Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, and emergency systems • Perform electrical calculations and develop drawings according to client specifications and industry standards • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, bills of materials, and installation drawings • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, including NEC • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders on specifications, design criteria, and project budgets • Work with global AECOM teams on high-profile, fast-paced data center projects • Serve in a hands-on, client-facing capacity • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering and data center technologies • Travel occasionally for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business-critical activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering • 6+ years of MEP design experience • Experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects • Experience working in Revit and ACC • Experience with power system analysis tools such as SKM or ETAP • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) • Knowledge of building codes including IBC and IECC • Professional Engineer License (P.E.) • Familiarity with mission-critical infrastructure standards and data center design requirements • Experience with data center design and construction, including design criteria and industry standards • Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
