📋 Description

• Design and develop medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems, including switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives • Implement process instrumentation and control systems to optimize facility operations • Prepare engineering studies, reports, calculations, designs, specifications, and construction cost estimates • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards • Manage designs throughout construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to information requests, and generating punch lists • Collaborate within project teams and coordinate with other disciplines and design team members • Establish electrical equipment performance parameters based on project requirements • Collaborate with equipment vendors to refine preliminary equipment selections • Provide design, construction, and assessment services for building electrical and energy systems across water, wastewater, municipal, government, industrial, and commercial facilities

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Experience designing and developing medium- and low-voltage electrical industrial power systems • Experience with switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives • Proficiency using industry-standard software and tools for electrical design and analysis • Ability to implement process instrumentation and control systems • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards • Preferred: Licensed as a Professional Engineer in California, or ability to become licensed through reciprocity • Must be able to work remotely from anywhere in the United States • No sponsorship is offered for this position • No relocation is offered for this position • Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
