📋 Description

• Prepare environmental permit applications under Massachusetts environmental regulatory programs • Support Energy Projects, including electric energy transmission, generation, and renewables • Support state and private-sector infrastructure improvement programs and federal projects • Conduct wetland and wildlife field ecology activities • Work with the Northeast Environmental Planning & Permitting Department and EPP teams • Spend time in offices or client sites as needed • Attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location

🎯 Requirements

• BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field + 6 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid Driver’s License • Must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review • US Citizenship required • Environmental Permitting experience required • Wetlands experience in Massachusetts required • Strong understanding of Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs, including Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10:00), USACE Sections 404/10 and 401 WQC programs, and working familiarity with MADEP Chapter 91 Program and MEPA • Proven ability to prepare permit applications • Strong writing skills • GIS skills • Strong computer skills • Additional New England Environmental Regulatory Programs background desired
