• Prepare permit applications under Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs • Apply knowledge of the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10:00) • Work with USACE Sections 404/10 and 401 WQC programs • Apply working familiarity with MADEP Chapter 91 and MEPA programs • Conduct wetland and wildlife field ecology activities • Support energy projects, including electric energy transmission, generation, and renewables • Support state and private-sector infrastructure improvement programs • Support federal projects • Work with AECOM’s Northeast Environmental Planning & Permitting Department and EPP teams • Work remotely while spending time in offices or at client sites as needed
• BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field + 6 years of experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review • US Citizenship required • Environmental Permitting experience required • Wetlands experience in Massachusetts required • Strong writing skills • Ability to draft environmental permitting applications • GIS skills • Strong computer skills • Additional background in other New England Environmental Regulatory Programs desired • Relocation is not available • Sponsorship is not available
