• Prepare environmental permit applications for Massachusetts regulatory programs • Apply knowledge of the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act, USACE Sections 404/10 and 401 WQC programs, MADEP Chapter 91, and MEPA • Conduct wetland and wildlife field ecology work • Support energy projects, including electric transmission, generation, and renewables • Support state and private-sector infrastructure improvement programs • Support federal projects • Work with the Northeast Environmental Planning & Permitting Department and East Coast EPP teams • Work in offices or at client sites as needed
• BA/BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field, plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review • US Citizenship required • Environmental permitting experience • Wetlands experience in Massachusetts • Strong understanding of Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs, including the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act Regulations (310 CMR 10:00), USACE Sections 404/10 and 401 WQC programs, and familiarity with MADEP Chapter 91 and MEPA • Proven ability to prepare permit applications • Strong writing skills and ability to draft environmental permitting applications • GIS skills • Strong computer skills • Ability to work in offices or at client sites as needed • Sponsorship is not available • Relocation is not available
