📋 Description

• Support AECOM’s Energy Practice Engineering Service Initiatives as an Estimator • Develop proficiency in company estimating systems and processes • Compile all types of estimates using estimating terminology, measures, concepts, and principles • Analyze how project processes, actions, and assumptions affect estimates and quantify impacts • Use estimates to predict key project issues • Prepare and/or coordinate full project estimates • Provide conceptual and final estimating input • Apply construction means, methods, and sequences for a single discipline • Perform all aspects of estimating • Assist with Estimate Plans and Estimate Bases • Independently evaluate, select, adapt, and modify standard estimating techniques, procedures, and criteria • Provide guidance to less experienced estimating personnel • Develop wage rate build-ups • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, Requests-for-Proposals, and contracts • Develop detailed material take-offs for procurement of bulk materials • Apply AECOM cost structure elements, including overheads, G&A, and insurance • Develop cash flow schedules and estimates • Prepare scope and bid package breakdowns for subcontractor and vendor quotes • Prepare subcontract bid analyses for scope, cost, and price • Apply Earned Value Management System theory and practices • Read and interpret discipline drawings to prepare takeoffs and check quantities • Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver infrastructure solutions

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Preferred: Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 10 years of relevant experience • Experience with estimating software programs such as WINEstimator, Timberline, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE), or Heavy Bid • Demonstrated knowledge of Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines • Knowledge of estimating software systems • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
