• Independently execute and deliver GIS projects varying from basic to moderate to significant scopes and complexity • Develop databases and mapping outputs to support reports and project deliverables • Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and presentation • Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic components • Extract and provide GIS data to clients using GIS concepts, practices, and procedures • Prepare and maintain internal and external project documentation, including quality control documentation • Work directly with Level I/II/III/IV GIS Specialists and Project Managers • Assist field teams with field mapping preparation, field data collection, data extraction, and related activities
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field, and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Citizenship is required • Strong communications skills • Ability to independently manage workload schedules • Relevant year/s of GIS or other relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Experience with ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal and/or other relevant ArcGIS software • Understanding of the ESRI suite of products • AutoCAD experience • Technical knowledge of geographic concepts, including coordinate systems, data collection methods, spatial data management, analysis, data visualization and cartographic design
