• Support projects for private and government clients throughout the U.S. and internationally • Perform and review ecological risk assessments according to regulatory guidance and project-specific work plans • Develop Risk Assessment Work Plans and contribute to Sampling and Analysis Plans/Quality Assurance Project Plans • Coordinate with internal project teams and delegate to junior staff • Prepare technical deliverables, write reports, and perform or review risk assessment calculations • Contribute to proposals and business development, including scopes of work and cost estimates • Mentor and develop junior staff • Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and guidance documents • Maintain work quality, quantity, and efficiency at or above company standards • Perform occasional field work as needed
• BA/BS degree in Ecotoxicology, Ecology, Zoology, Environmental Science/Studies, Chemistry, Toxicology, Biology, or a related area, and 6+ years of ecological risk assessment experience in environmental consulting, or demonstrated equivalence of education and experience • US Citizenship required • Valid Driver’s License required • Must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review and background check • Applied knowledge of USEPA guidance for ecological risk assessment preferred • Excellent technical writing and communication skills preferred • Experience conducting food web/bioaccumulation assessments preferred • Experience performing data analysis and applied statistics preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred • Experience evaluating PFAS, PCBs, and lead preferred • CERCLA experience with Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and ROD development preferred • Site investigation, field sampling, and wildlife assessment experience preferred • Experience working on Navy or Department of Defense projects preferred • Experience with the Hawaii Department of Health and EPA Region 9 preferred • Experience with projects in Hawaii, Guam, and other Pacific Islands preferred • Experience performing wildlife assessments preferred
