• Perform fieldwork under the supervision of a Crew Chief, Field Director and/or Principal Investigator. • Gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisors, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites. • Assist with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation. • Collect and enter data and apply technical principles and theories under supervision.
• High School graduates plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with archaeological fieldwork in the PNW region. • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record, as project travel will be required for this role. • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. • Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field (Preferred). • 5+ years of experience with a wide range of field methodologies, including archaeological survey, testing, excavation, and monitoring (Preferred). • Completion of an archaeological field school is desired (Preferred). • Experience with Geospatial technology including GPS and GIS (Preferred). • Computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Preferred).
