📋 Description

• Oversee Federal environmental remediation projects • Manage and direct professional and technical staff on complex environmental projects • Lead teams using advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices • Develop technical solutions to complex problems using existing technologies and experience • Interpret and record data and conduct analyses • Compare findings with relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance • Analyze financial statements and track budgets • Manage project invoicing and cash flow • Prepare work plans and organize project studies • Supervise junior and mid-level staff throughout project phases • Conduct staff reviews and provide feedback for continued improvement • Report periodically to the area manager • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Support business development • Lead execution of Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction • Travel overnight occasionally

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Valid U.S. driver’s license • U.S. Citizenship required • Professional license such as PE, PG, PMP, CHMM, or similar preferred • 10+ years of experience in environmental remediation project management preferred • Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred • Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations preferred • Experience managing environmental projects for Federal clients including USACE, AFCEC, and Navy preferred • Thorough working knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA preferred • Experience managing teams and scheduling staff and resources • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders • Experience leading Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, Treatability Studies, Remedial Design, and Remedial Action Construction • Strong organizational, verbal, written, communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills • Occasional overnight travel required
