📋 Description

• Deliver transport infrastructure design and drafting across major projects • Produce high-quality drawings and digital models in accordance with NZTA, client and project standards • Develop and manage CAD and BIM deliverables to support project design and delivery requirements • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring on digital design tools, drafting standards and workflows • Work under limited supervision to manage own deliverables while contributing to broader project outcomes • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and integrate and federate design inputs across projects • Contribute to design documentation and ensure outputs meet project specifications, quality standards and delivery timelines • Support the use of BIM and digital engineering tools to enhance design coordination and project delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Civil Engineering Associate Degree, Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent qualification • Minimum 5 years' experience in transport infrastructure drafting and design • Strong experience delivering transport infrastructure projects, including civil arrangements, geometric design, road corridors, cycleways, footpaths, signage, utilities and safety infrastructure • Proven capability producing high-quality CAD drawings and design documentation for project delivery • Experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revizto or similar platforms • Strong understanding of BIM and digital engineering workflows • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating design inputs • Strong understanding of design standards, quality requirements and project delivery timeframes • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
