📋 Description
• Prepare site civil engineering plans for commercial, industrial, utility, and infrastructure development projects • Perform site layout, grading design, utility coordination, access and circulation planning, and erosion control design • Prepare permit and construction documents • Coordinate plans with clients, permitting agencies, stormwater designers, and utility providers • Progress projects from entitlement and permitting through Issued-for-Construction plan development and construction support • Serve as a senior technical resource and technical advisor • Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs • Develop study and design procedures • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables • Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts • Complete discipline components of PS&E packages • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings • Prepare technical specification sections • Support engineering budget and schedule development • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians • Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time • Conduct site visits and field investigations • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Represent AECOM in client meetings and professional conferences
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Professional Engineering License (PE) • U.S. Citizenship required • Proficiency with Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred • Site civil and/or transportation design experience preferred • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future
