📋 Description

• Develop civil engineering solutions from initial concepts through detailed design and construction • Prepare site civil engineering plans for commercial, industrial, utility, and infrastructure development projects • Perform site layout, grading design, utility coordination, access and circulation planning, and erosion control design • Prepare permit and construction documents • Coordinate plans with clients, permitting agencies, stormwater designers, and utility providers • Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs • Develop study and design procedures • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables • Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates • Complete discipline components of PS&E packages • Perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings • Prepare technical specification sections • Travel occasionally to sites or the office, approximately 5% • Provide input to engineering budgets and schedules • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians • Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality work on schedule • Conduct site visits and field investigations • Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations • Represent AECOM in client meetings and professional conferences

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • U.S. Professional Engineering License (PE) • U.S. Citizenship required • Proficiency with Civil 3D AutoCAD modeling • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering • Site civil and/or transportation design experience • Ability to travel occasionally to the office or work sites • Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available now or in the future
