đ Description
⢠Design automation and SCADA systems for mechanical and electrical systems on complex data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects ⢠Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and ICT design teams on control sequences, diagrams, points lists, network architectures, and structured ethernet cabling interfaces ⢠Design resilient OT networks using ethernet and serial networks over wireless, fiber, and copper media ⢠Develop basis of design for BAS, PLC, and PMS controllers, instrumentation, and software, including datasheets ⢠Develop and tailor controls, instrumentation, cybersecurity, and power-monitoring technical specifications ⢠Apply BAS, EPMS, and PLC protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, and EtherNet/IP ⢠Verify compliance with applicable US codes and engineering standards ⢠Work with templated models and track and justify changes from client models ⢠Coordinate across disciplines for cohesive designs ⢠Attend project meetings and calls, manage schedules and budgets, and adapt to deadlines ⢠Collaborate with global teams on high-profile data center projects ⢠Perform occasional scheduled travel for client meetings, project milestones, onsite collaboration, or business-critical activities
đŻ Requirements
⢠Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education ⢠Four years of work experience as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer or controls contractor creating controls submittals ⢠Experience with BAS and PLC control system platforms ⢠Experience with Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (PMS/EPMS) ⢠Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects ⢠Experience with data center or other mission-critical environments ⢠Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent preferred ⢠Experience with US codes and standards ⢠Experience with Operational Technology Networks ⢠Experience with SCADA platforms ⢠Experience specifying technical cybersecurity requirements ⢠Ability to work flexible hours for project meetings and calls ⢠Ability to schedule work and meet budget expectations ⢠Ability to multitask, adapt to project deadlines, and work collaboratively ⢠Sponsorship is available for this role ⢠Relocation is not available for this role
