📋 Description

• Develop, calibrate, verify, and maintain 1D/2D InfoWorks ICM models for wastewater, stormwater, and urban drainage networks • Represent controls, storage, pump stations, and CSO structures in hydraulic models • Use flow/rainfall monitoring, SCADA, and asset data for model development and calibration • Perform macro/micro calibration and document uncertainty and assumptions • Assess and optimize CSOs, pumping stations, wastewater treatment facility interfaces, flood mitigation schemes, and CSO spill reduction programs • Conduct hydraulic capacity assessments, options appraisals, and scenario analyses • Develop modelling plans, test plans, QA/QC checklists, traceable model builds, and version control • Translate model outputs into engineering recommendations, conceptual solutions, and design inputs • Prepare technical reports, memos, figures, and presentations in English and Spanish • Coordinate with GIS, survey, asset management, field, treatment, pipeline, structural, and electrical/controls teams • Support water infrastructure planning studies, benefit-cost assessments, and risk-based prioritization • Review deliverables and mentor junior engineers • Coordinate across disciplines, regions, and time zones • Contribute to proposals and support client meetings and workshops

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline • At least 4 years of professional experience • Advanced proficiency in InfoWorks ICM, including model build, 1D/2D integration, RTC/controls, and calibration/verification • Proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D or equivalent, and data handling for model input/output management • Hands-on experience in stormwater and wastewater system modelling and analysis • Solid knowledge of hydraulic design principles for gravity and pressure sewers, drainage systems, and related infrastructure • Strong technical reporting and communication skills • Ability to present findings and lead discussions • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken
