• Lead AECOM’s Industrial Engineering team across multiple regions and offices • Report to a Market Sector Leader or Industrial Principal • Support delivery of high-value Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial projects • Develop and deliver a high-performing Process Optimization capability • Embed Lean thinking and industrial best practices into project delivery • Manage development of value propositions for process optimization, manufacturing and industrial advisory services • Develop data-driven insights and translate them into practical, deliverable solutions • Manage and deliver projects and workstreams to agreed quality, cost and schedule • Apply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering techniques to analyze and improve client operations • Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders • Contribute to business development activities, proposals and thought leadership • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM • Contribute to best-practice methods and standards • Support capability development through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing • Travel across the United States and internationally as needed • Attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrable equivalent experience • United States Citizenship is required • Master’s Degree preferred • Professional memberships and/or certifications beneficial • 15 years overall industry experience, with 3-5 years of role-specific experience preferred • Background in manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or related operational environments • Experience working within or alongside highly regulated industries • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical, value-driven solutions • Experience applying Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams • Ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations • Experience applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environments • Consulting experience in complex project environments is a plus • Experience with process mapping, analysis and optimization • Experience with production systems, facility design or industrial operations • Data analysis and performance improvement experience • Project delivery and workstream management experience • Experience with automation, robotics or manufacturing systems integration • Experience with digital manufacturing, simulation or data analytics tools • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future
