📋 Description

• Provide specialized technical input for studies and the design of bridges and other road-related infrastructure • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures • Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and simple to complex tests • Develop, evaluate, and implement design procedures to support high-quality, cost-effective work • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables • Prepare construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort for projects • Perform quality-control reviews of design calculations and drawings • Prepare technical specifications • Contribute to the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project-specific requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Bridge Design Engineer, Site Engineer, or in a related occupation; alternatively, a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the same areas • Experience with pre-stressed concrete bridge design • Experience with steel and concrete segmental and arch bridge design • Experience with stay cable bridge design • Experience with erection engineering • Experience with finite element software, including SOFiSTiK and Midas • Experience with Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Revit • Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US • Newly hired employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
