📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of substation engineers and designers • Work on transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and grid modernization projects • Build relationships with utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients • Support substation project delivery from planning and design through construction support • Provide technical oversight and QA/QC • Partner with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities • Drive technical excellence, quality, safety, and innovation across projects • Lead recruitment, career development, and team engagement initiatives • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM's Energy practice • Deliver projects that strengthen the electric grid • Expand AECOM's presence in energy and power markets • Create innovative solutions supporting the energy transition

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA + 12 years of related experience • At least 4 years of experience acting in a leadership or practice-building capacity, or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education • PE required • U.S. citizenship required • Extensive experience in substation engineering preferred • Experience managing projects, clients, and technical teams preferred • PE in multiple states preferred • Visa sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future • Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
