📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of substation engineers and designers • Deliver transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and grid modernization projects • Build relationships with utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients • Support substation projects from planning and design through construction support • Provide technical oversight and QA/QC • Partner with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities • Drive technical excellence, quality, safety, and innovation across projects • Lead recruitment, career development, and team engagement initiatives • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM's Energy practice • Grow the substation team and expand AECOM's presence in energy and power markets

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA and 12 years of related experience, with at least 4 years acting in a leadership or practice-building capacity, or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education • PE required • U.S. citizenship required • Extensive experience in substation engineering • Experience managing projects, clients, and technical teams • PE in multiple states preferred • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Commitment to quality, safety, and client success • Visa sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future • Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
