📋 Description

• Prepare ALTA/Boundary Surveys • Prepare legal description calculations for field staff • Understand title commitment and exception documents • Operate survey instruments and equipment for topographic, ALTA, boundary, construction, and other projects • Complete projects in a timely, efficient, and effective manner within deadlines and budgets • Lead and mentor the CAD technician team • Address client comments and coordinate revisions • Coordinate drawings between disciplines and identify drawing conflicts • Work collaboratively with technical and non-technical personnel

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of applicable experience in a similar role preferred • Expert-level knowledge of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys • Mastery in reading, interpreting, and determining easements • Advanced CAD software skills • Strong understanding of surveying principles and legal descriptions • Ability to lead and mentor CAD technician team • Ability to address client comments and coordinate revisions • Strong communication and time management skills • Proficient in Excel and able to integrate Excel with AutoCAD and/or GIS as needed • Strong understanding of coordinating drawings between disciplines and identifying drawing conflicts • Excellent concentration and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail • Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams with technical and non-technical personnel • Strong planning, organization, preparation, and execution capabilities • Openness to new ideas, innovation, and change • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • High school diploma/GED diploma required • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to sit, type, handle office and/or field equipment, speak, and hear • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, balance, kneel, or crouch • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Close vision and ability to focus
