📋 Description

• Lead profitable growth of Aerzen solutions within an assigned wastewater territory • Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve growth, order intake, and profitability objectives • Lead, support, and develop independent municipal sales representatives • Conduct customer presentations, representative training, lunch-and-learns, and market-development activities • Build relationships with municipalities, engineering firms, OEMs, contractors, and other key stakeholders • Identify new customers, projects, applications, and market opportunities • Develop key-account and opportunity strategies based on decision-makers, project requirements, competition, and purchasing processes • Engage early in project and specification processes to position Aerzen solutions • Provide technical and commercial support for equipment selection, specifications, compliance, energy efficiency, and total cost of ownership • Coordinate quotations, bid submissions, pre-bid meetings, presentations, negotiations, and customer follow-up • Collaborate with Application Engineering, Project Management, Service, Aftermarket, and Customer Support through sales and order execution • Maintain the opportunity pipeline and prepare sales forecasts, account strategies, and activity reports in the CRM system • Represent Aerzen at regional and national trade shows, conferences, and industry events • Monitor customer needs, competitive activity, and market trends and provide feedback to the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience • Successful experience in technical equipment sales • Municipal water and wastewater market experience strongly preferred • Experience working with independent sales representatives or channel partners • Ability to understand technical applications and clearly communicate customer and business value • Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, organization, and opportunity-management skills • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience using CRM systems to manage customer information, sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts • Ability to use ERP systems, product configuration tools, and other business applications • Strong commercial and analytical skills, including calculating discounts, margins, commissions, percentages, and other sales-related figures • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and responsive, with a strong sense of urgency • Ability to lead and influence independent sales representatives and cross-functional teams • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities across a regional territory • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time for business as needed • Successful completion of a background check • Must pass a drug test before beginning work • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
