📋 Description

• Set product strategy and roadmap for Comms Plat, connecting customer needs, business priorities, and technical opportunities • Modernize Affirm’s communications infrastructure and build shared capabilities across transactional and marketing communications • Lead complex platform initiatives from strategy through launch and adoption • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, Design, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance • Build relationships across Affirm to anticipate communications needs for products, markets, and customer journeys • Shape channel, platform, and partner strategy, including build-versus-buy decisions • Balance customer experience, reliability, scalability, cost, regulatory requirements, and speed • Define success measures and use customer, product, operational, and business signals to guide priorities and investment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience, with a track record of leading complex products or platforms • Experience building platform or other technically complex products • Comms or messaging experience is helpful, but not required • Strong product judgment and ability to turn complex, ambiguous problems into clear strategy and actionable roadmap • Technical fluency and comfort partnering deeply with Engineering on architecture, reliability, scalability, and platform tradeoffs • Track record of taking products beyond launch and driving adoption across multiple teams or customer groups • Strong cross-functional influence and ability to build alignment across teams with different priorities and constraints • Strong analytical and business judgment, including weighing customer impact, operating complexity, cost, and risk • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Customer-first mindset • Comfort operating with ambiguity and adapting as you learn
