📋 Description

• Support customers with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Agilent Pathology and Genomics instruments • Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer sites • Diagnose and resolve product performance problems • Perform maintenance and repair services • Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance • Proactively respond to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned business interruptions • Deliver fully integrated solutions involving peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software • Serve as an internal technical resource and manage product escalations • Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to provide customer solutions • Potentially support third-party products • Deliver internal technical training, maintenance seminars, and workshops • Train other field engineers or customers • Potentially qualify leads

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. • Active/valid driver's license required • Meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access • Consent to customer-requested screening, which may include post-employment background checks, drug testing, vaccinations, fingerprinting, proof of valid identification, and customer-specific substance abuse programs • Bachelor's, master's, or other university-level degree in a science field is highly preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered • 4+ years of experience working with analytical instrumentation • Experience or expertise with Pathology handling equipment, specifically IHC instrumentation • Medical Diagnostics experience is ideal • Familiarity with ISO 13485 service standards • Ability to solve high-impact, system/solution-focused product availability problems • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong customer relationship-building skills • Ability to travel 80% of the time • Ability to work overnight travel 50%, including possible weekend work and overtime • Ability to work Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and the Bay Area territory as needed
