📋 Description

• Sell high-value services and support solutions to pharmaceutical, chemical analysis, and other industries • Partner with local account managers and customer service resources to develop new business and standard or customized offerings • Develop business with underdeveloped mid-sized Agilent clients across two regions • Create growth plans and develop local competitive knowledge • Identify new business opportunities within Agilent and competitive account bases • Lead deal planning and drive account penetration for support solutions • Develop laboratory solutions and services with customers and partners • Network with account executives to foster business growth opportunities • Collaborate with field sales, service delivery, and business organizations on strategic account plans • Develop and implement a new-business sales strategy to maximize sales volume, establish customer relationships, and gain market share

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's, master's or other university degree or equivalent • Degree in science and/or business field highly preferred • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered • At least 1 year of direct sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success in solutions sales to major accounts • 3+ years of experience preferred • Ability to translate service value propositions into financial and operational benefits • Strong business development, sales negotiating, and sales closing skills • Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills • Outstanding presentation, planning, and organizational skills • High-level knowledge of instrument support services business • Demonstrated successful project management experience • Leadership and teamwork within a cross-functional global matrix environment • Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation preferred • Ability to interface comfortably at high levels within customer management structures • Availability for up to 75% business travel • Based in the Western regions of the US
